The company plans to introduce Magma models across the entire lineup. One of these models was recently spotted on the road in Korea, generating buzz.

On the 27th, the ‘Healer TV’ YouTube channel, which specializes in automotive spy shots, posted a video showcasing a prototype believed to be a part of the Genesis Magma lineup. The vehicle seems to be a facelift model of GV70, and there is speculation that it could be unveiled as early as May. Genesis has previously displayed Magma concept cars based on GV60, GV80 Coupe, and G80. However, the new car GV70 appears to have a high probability of being the first Magma model to be introduced in the domestic market.
The vehicle’s orange exterior catches the eye, which is also the symbolic color of Magma. Based on the modified facelift design, unique Magma elements are expected to be added to the front and rear parts of the car, which are currently covered with camouflage. Like the previously introduced GV60 Magma concept, this car also features a combination of red brake calipers with a matte black wheel.

G80 Magma Also to be Released?
Healer TV has recently reported on a new prototype of the GV70 that features a similar wheel. This particular wheel is paired with a 255/40R 21 tire, currently the largest size available for the GV70. The Magma wheel stands out due to its unique design and material, and the thin spokes suggest that it may be lightweight.
Meanwhile, Genesis recently introduced the G80 to its Magma lineup. The company showcased a G80 show car when it launched the ‘One of One’ custom order program in the Middle East market towards the end of last year. The Magma project was kept under wraps at that time. However, it has now been unveiled as the “Performance Edition.” Unfortunately, this model is anticipated to be available in limited numbers in the Middle East market only, and there are no plans to release it in other regions
GV60 Magma Production Planned
Expecting the Highest Performance Ever
Meanwhile, the GV60 Magma has been officially unveiled and is scheduled for production. The exact release date is unknown, but it is anticipated to be around the same time as the base model GV60, which is also undergoing a facelift. According to the Hyundai Motor Group, the production version of the GV60 Magma will feature a battery and motor optimized for high performance, along with other unique features.
