The Panamera is a 5-seat, 4-door, high-performance large fastback based on rear-wheel drive produced by Porsche, a German premium sports car brand, since 2009. The Panamera is particularly famous for delivering high performance while maintaining comfort. Meanwhile, Porsche unveiled the new 2025 Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid, which will be remembered forever in the history of hybrids (including PHEV).
The Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid is a tremendous performer, producing a whopping 670 horsepower. At the same time, the interior is also equipped with many advanced features as standard. Meanwhile, with the news that the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid will begin sales in the European market starting in March 2024, South Korean consumers are also eagerly waiting for the vehicle to be launched in South Korea.
Turbocharger V8 engine and PHEV system
Boasting a high performance of 670 horsepower
The Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid has a turbocharged V8 engine and a plug-in hybrid system that produces 670 horsepower. An 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and four-wheel drive are standard, and an air spring suspension system and adaptive dampers are also standard. Additionally, a rear-wheel steering system is provided as an option.
When driving calmly, the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid looks like a simple luxury sedan. However, it delivers powerful performance when drivers switch to Sports Plus mode. In particular, the Active Ride Suspension system is said to suppress body rotation by strengthening the damper on one side of the vehicle when cornering sharply. Therefore, passengers can maintain stability even when driving at high speeds.
Zero to sixty in just 3.0 seconds, and it offers a variety of high-end options
Porsche claims the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid can accelerate to 62 mph (100km/h) in just 3.0 seconds. The 21.8 kWh battery pack installed in the vehicle is expected to provide a driving range of approximately 65 km (40 miles) in pure electric mode on a single full charge. The battery can be fully charged in about 3 hours by connecting the 1kW onboard charger to a level 2 public charger.
The Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid’s interior is decorated with various luxury options. A hatchback was installed instead of the existing trunk, creating a larger space for loading items in the back seat. The front seats can be selected from comfort or sports bucket seats and are electrically adjustable, and the rear seats can be chosen from two-seater bucket seats or three-seater bench seats.
The Sports Chrono Package is
provided as standard
In the case of the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid, Porsche’s popular package, the Sport Chrono Package, is provided as standard. Other driving enhancement features, such as a stopwatch on the dashboard, Sport Plus driving mode, and launch control settings, are also standard. A 12.6-inch curved glass panel that serves as a digital gauge display and a 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system running Porsche’s latest software are also provided as standard.
A second 10.9-inch display in front of the passenger seat allows the person sitting in the passenger seat additional access to entertainment. In addition, it is equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 14-speaker Bose stereo system, and wireless smartphone charging. The 2025 Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid’s price range is expected to start at approximately $192,581 and increase to about $229,601, depending on trim and options.
