Hyundai Palisade
New Model Launch Imminent
Eye-catching Design Resembling Range Rover
The Hyundai Palisade, which continues to gain popularity as a family car, is a large SUV launched in December 2018. From its launch, it captivated consumers with its spacious interior and reasonable price, and it took more than a year just to wait for delivery.
The redesigned Palisade (full-change model) will be launched in January next year. A test car was also captured ahead of launch. While some designs, such as lamps, were revealed through the camouflage film, realistic rendering based on this is also a hot topic among netizens.
The angular design of the tail lamp falling vertically
The design of the Palisade, created by Gotcha, a South Korean automobile rendering YouTube channel, stands out with a design that resembles the Range Rover. In the case of the rear part, the shape of the tail lamp of the existing Palisade was kept similar. At the same time, a more angular and sleek design was applied. The vertically long tail lamp extends to the lower cladding.
The bottom of the tail lamp extends sharply toward the side. Vertical graphics were applied to the interior of the tail lamp. The bumper cladding connected to the thin cladding of the wheel arch was larger than before, creating a rough image. A hidden type wiper is applied to the rear glass, creating a clean look at the rear. Next, the muffler tip at the bottom right was relocated to the left.
Chrome panel applied under the roof
Angular recess stands out on the side
A chrome panel was applied between the roof line and the pillar to widen the gap between the roof and the pillar. A clean side design is made through the filler with black molding. Angled engravings were added to the wheel arches to create a design contrast with the circular cladding. For the front part, a design that emphasizes horizontality was applied. The grille and headlamps develop a sense of unity in design.
The square, bold grille was adorned with a thin rectangular pattern. The top of the headlamp protrudes sharply and extends toward the side. The bumper’s design remained similar to the existing Palisade. The flat bonnet extended to the front, and the bold feel was emphasized by adding angular volume to the sides.
Hybrid Added
Scheduled to be launched in January next year
In the case of the new Palisade’s powertrain, the diesel engine was deleted. Instead, we plan to respond to the growing demand for hybrids by adding a hybrid powertrain. The 3.8-liter V6 gasoline naturally aspirated engine will be downsized to a 3.5-liter Lambda engine and launched in North America. The new Palisade is scheduled to be launched in January next year.
