The 1957 335 S Spider Scaglietti was sold for approximately $35.7 million at an Artcurial auction in 2016, making it the fifth most expensive Ferrari car ever. The vehicle was equipped with a 4.0-liter Zano V12 engine and took second place in the 1957 Mille Miglia and won the 1958 Cuban Grand Prix. Celebrities like Mike Hawthorne, the first Formula 1 driver’s championship winner, are said to have driven the vehicle.

The 1962 250 GTO was auctioned through Bonhams in California in 2014 and sold for approximately $38.5 million, making it the fourth most expensive Ferrari vehicle ever. It is said that the vehicle, which is equipped with a 3.0-liter V12 engine, collided with the trackside during the Coupes du Salon race, causing fatal injuries to the driver. It was later restored and sold, but subsequent owners, including former F1 ace Ernesto Prinoth, are also known to have crashed the vehicle while driving it, making it known as an ill-fated Ferrari vehicle.
The 1962 330 LM was made immediately after the 250 GTO was released, and its frame is almost identical to the GTO. The vehicle sold for about $52 million at RM Sotheby’s auction and is the third most expensive Ferrari model ever. Chassis number 3765 was the only Series I model launched with a 4.0-liter V12 engine. This vehicle won the class at the Nürburgring 1000KM in 1962 and participated in the 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans Race.
