Sales increased by 40% Over Last Year
Outpaces Electric Vehicle Exports
Top 3 Popular Hybrid Sedans?

Hybrid vehicles are making their presence known by replacing electric cars. According to the Korean Automobile Mobility Industry Association on the 24th, in the domestic eco-friendly car market in the first quarter of this year, the sales of hybrid vehicles recorded 111,766 units, an increase of 39.6% over the same period last year (80,063 units).
On the other hand, the exports of electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid cars, and hydrogen electric vehicles declined in the first quarter of this year. However, only the export of hybrid vehicles showed a growth trend with a 5.8% increase. As a result, the export rate of this type of vehicle has surpassed that of electric cars. Amidst this, three types of hybrid sedans are gaining popularity in 2024.
