In action movies and TV series, stunt driving often facilitates an escape or highlights the protagonist’s prowess. However, in reality, stunt driving is regarded as highly dangerous and is generally taboo due to the significant risks involved. Accidents resulting from such reckless behavior can have serious repercussions.
Every year in the US, there is a constant stream of accidents involving Dodge vehicles that maintain rough driving capabilities to preserve the tradition of muscle cars. Recently, the Challenger was caught running down the road using only one wheel each, front and rear, and has become a hot topic. What kind of end did the vehicle meet? Let’s find out together.
Unintentional Stunt Driving
Avoids Accidents on the Road
A recently released black box video shows a black Challenger overtaking a line of cars. Netizens who watched the footage expressed surprise about the vehicle, saying, “It looks “like a stunt in a drama about cars from the 1980s.”
In the “video, the Dodge Challenger was found on Route 1 in Walpole, southwest of Boston. It appears to have completely lost control and drove on two wheels. Fortunately, the signal changed when entering the intersection, and accidents on the road were avoided.
Unfortunately, the Starbucks down the street was not so lucky when a Challenger lost control, crashed through the fence, and plowed into the store. The terrace’s umbrellas and tables were visibly damaged at the accident scene. The front of the coffee shop and the store’s interior were left in disarray.
The accident occurred just before Starbucks closed and resulted in only minor injuries to one employee. However, if the accident happened in the middle of the day when many people were sitting in seats close to the front window, it seems likely that many casualties would have occurred.
No Punishment for the Driver Yet
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident and believe that speeding caused it. According to the Walpole Police Department, the vehicle was traveling south on Route 1 when it struck a utility pole as it approached the intersection of Route 27, causing the driver to lose control.
