The appearance of the Mercedes F Class?
|Acclaimed for its best-ever design
Presenting Mercedes-Benz’s future design
Controversy continues over Mercedes-Benz’s latest design language. In particular, spy shots and renderings of the new S-Class prototype have been unveiled one after another recently, sparking controversy. Mercedes-Benz is expanding the application of its brand symbol, the triangular star, as its latest design language.
Following the application of a triangular star to the tail lamp, it was confirmed that it was also applied to the daytime running lights in the recently captured S-Class prototype. In addition, Mercedes-Benz is changing its latest design, such as changing the pattern of the diamond grill applied to a triangle.
Rendering of the Mercedes Benz F Class
Vertical AMG grill applied
Amid continued criticism that Mercedes-Benz’s symbol, the three-pointed star, is being abused, a rendering called the F-Class was recently unveiled, making it a hot topic. However, this is not the name of the model that was actually released; it is the name given by the virtual rendering designer who created it. The designer said he made an imaginary drawing of the F-Class, a four-door coupe, and presented a vision for Mercedes-Benz’s future design.
The newly unveiled F Class features a more dynamic appearance, thanks to the AMG grille with vertical slots. Here, a chrome bar was applied to maintain the existing luxurious image. The trapezoidal grille was larger than in other AMG models.
Sharp headlamp design
Sleek roofline
The F Class’ headlamps have become even thinner. In addition, the sporty image was emphasized by sharpening the line at the end of the headlamp box. The lines of the chrome-applied bumper extend elegantly. The air intake on the bumper’s side is vertical, expressing a high-performance feel.
The side part’s smooth body lines stand out. A flush-type door handle is applied, and the shape of the voluminous fender stands out. The point was the curved character line connecting the front and rear fenders. The coupe body is applied so the roof line falls sharply toward the rear.
Then, chrome garnish was added along the window line, enhancing the vehicle’s sleek aesthetic. The narrow side window glass with a tall window belt line added a touch of elegance to the design. The wheels’ turbine-style concave shape contributes to a dignified appearance. The ground clearance has also been lowered, bringing the fender and wheel closer together and creating a more streamlined look.
The designer who created the rendering said he plans to produce and reveal the rearview later.
