Hyundai’s high-performance electric car, the Ioniq 5 N, is said to be more popular in the US than in South Korea. Why is this?

In particular, the Ioniq 5 N has improved 4th-generation battery performance optimized with 800V E-GMP (Hyundai’s electric vehicle platform), a maximum output of 478 kW, and a power performance of approximately 650 horsepower. In addition, the time it takes to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill is 3.5 seconds, and when using the N Grin boost, the time is reduced to 3.4 seconds, making it faster than a Lamborghini Urus.

A significant advantage is that reliability has increased in South Korea and overseas compared to China, which uses SK batteries. Another feature is that the heavy weight of electric vehicles is turned into an advantage by utilizing the regenerative braking function.
