China’s Car Exports Under Fire: Trump’s Shocking Threat Revealed!

newautopost Views

Chinese vehicles pouring into the US
The US government can no longer just ignore it
Trump finally made a bombshell statement

The Hill

Former President Donald Trump appeared with an ear bandage at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on July 18. He firmly expressed his intention to control Chinese vehicles and said that up to 200% tariffs could be imposed.

Immediately after his remarks, the stock markets of China, Japan, and South Korea all went on a roller coaster. In particular, despite the ongoing economic downturn, the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party failed to come up with clear measures. Therefore, China’s automobile industry is holding its breath and lying on the ground.

Imposing a Maximum Tariff of 200%
Will Strongly Crack Down

In his nomination acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention, Trump strongly criticized China’s actions. “Right now, as we speak, large factories are being built across the border in Mexico … They are being built by China to make cars and to sell them into our country [with] no tax or anything,” he said. “We’re going to bring back car manufacturing, and we’re going to bring it back fast,” he added.

His subsequent remarks are shocking. “And if they don’t agree with us, we will put a tariff of around 100 to 200 percent on each car, and they will be unsellable in the US.”

He told the crowd: “We will not let countries come in, take our jobs, and plunder our nation. The way they will sell their product in America is to build it in America, and only in America.”

Trump Targets Chinese Factories in Mexico
Criticizing Their Circumventing Exports

China has signed an agreement to build an automobile factory in Turkey to dominate the European electric vehicle (EV) market. As the European Union imposes tariffs of up to 47.6 percent on EVs made in China, China plans to indirectly export to the European automobile market by setting up a production base in Turkey.

Trump criticized China’s actions. Mexico has signed an agreement with the US, Mexico, and Canada (USMCA), providing tariff-free benefits to each other. That’s why China set up a factory in Mexico and tried to export to the United States, and this situation has never been good for the US. It is not unreasonable for Trump, who has already gained the support of most of the public, to establish specific policy plans.

Trump Gains Public Support
Shows an Active Stance

On July 13, while campaigning in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump was swiftly escorted off stage by security guards after several shots were fired from the rooftop of a nearby building.

Although Trump was grazed by a bullet, causing blood to flow from his ear, his action of raising a fist toward supporters while dodging further harm caught significant public attention. This incident sparked debates about the professionalism of US security. However, the public’s reaction to TrumpTrump’slient appearance was overwhelmingly positive, overshadowing the security concerns.
