Ram, inspired by the moon, launches the Luna Edition
Ram, a pickup truck brand under Stellantis, is gearing up for the transition from the 2024 to the 2025 model year. As part of this shift, Ram is introducing a new special edition for its heavy-duty truck lineup, specifically the 2500 model.
Dubbed the Luna Edition, this trim is inspired by the moon. It features a distinct ceramic gray color that mirrors the lunar surface. The truck’s logo is also color-matched to the body, enhancing its cohesive, moon-inspired aesthetic.

The Luna Edition is available for both the Power Wagon and Heavy Duty models. Alongside the distinctive ceramic gray exterior, each model features a glossy black Luna Vinyl Graphic along the lower body. They come equipped with prominent 33-inch tires and sport various black accents, including towing mirrors, powder-coated bumpers, and wheels, all designed to complement the moon-inspired gray finish.
Inside, the Luna Edition boasts black leather upholstery with Surf Blue stitching, adding a touch of contrast. The interior also showcases the Twill Film Accent from the Ram TRX, applied to the doors, instrument panel, and center console. Depending on the trim, the upper center console is adorned with a metal badge marking either the Power Wagon or Rebel. Additionally, a wireless mobile phone charging pad is included as standard.
Power Wagon and Heavy Duty
Boasting monster performance
Also, the Power Wagon trim maintains the 2-inch lift but is equipped with 17-inch wheels and a 6.4L V8 HEMI engine that produces 410 horsepower. The heavy-duty trim has 20-inch wheels and a 6.7L 6-cylinder diesel turbo engine that produces 370 horsepower.
For both trims, you can either apply the coil spring rear suspension to the regular trim or choose the air-ride rear suspension option. The air-ride rear suspension option automatically levels the vehicle up to the maximum load and even allows trailer towing.
Chris Feuell, CEO of Chrysler Ram, stated, “The new Luna Power Wagon and Heavy Duty trims will continue to lead the sport truck segment.” She added, “These special editions enhance our renowned sport trucks with popular features and design elements that our customers love.”
The Luna Editions are now available for order. The Power Wagon starts at $75,205, and the Heavy Duty model is priced at $85,490. Deliveries are set to commence in October 2024.
