First launched in 1968, the Hilux has established a reputation for exceptional durability, making it a popular choice in developing countries.
The Hilux Champ is designed as a versatile vehicle optimized for modifications, setting it apart from typical pickup trucks. Released in 2023, its design has distinct differences from the standard Hilux. It offers a range of powertrains, including a 2.0-liter gasoline engine, a 2.7-liter gasoline engine, and a 2.4-liter diesel engine. The Touring Package begins at about $30,300 for those seeking a more budget-friendly option. This range reflects the various features and customization available to meet different consumer needs.
A look inside the camper van structure reveals the following
The interior of the Carryboy camper van is designed for comfort and functionality. It features a versatile living area that can serve as both a sofa and dining space, easily converting into a bed for sleeping. Above the driver’s seat, there’s a separate sleeping area equipped with a window, enhancing the living space.
Storage is abundant, with long storage boxes mounted on the ceiling for easy access to various items. The camper is also well-appointed with modern amenities, including an 80-liter refrigerator, kitchen appliances, a sink, a 32-inch TV, and air conditioning. It includes electric side steps, sunshades, and slide-out kitchen options for added convenience.
The camper’s rear features a toilet and a 100-liter freshwater tank. The power system has a standard battery capacity of 9,600 Wh, with upgrade options available for 19,200 Wh and 28,800 Wh. A solar generator can also be installed on the roof to enhance energy efficiency further.
