The production plant is likely to be Tesla Gigafactory in Shanghai, China, and it was revealed that production will proceed with strict restrictions on local factory workers. The Model Y Juniper has already been captured in China, but whether it will significantly differ from the leaked image is unknown.

Expected Launch Late This Year or Early Next Year

As previously mentioned, the latest Tesla production news focuses on test vehicle production rather than full-scale mass production. Since Tesla has stated that there will be no more new vehicle releases and launches this year, Tesla’s latest vehicle launch will likely be postponed to next year rather than this year.
