Dodge Unveils Fourth Special Edition
Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey
Capturing Enthusiasts’ Attention with Bold Design and Power
Dodge has launched its latest high-performance SUV, the 2025 Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey. This marks Dodge’s fourth special edition release in 2025, and it’s already making waves among car enthusiasts.
The Brass Monkey stands out with its striking design features, including a satin black hood and black exhaust tips that contrast sharply with the red oxide exterior. The special edition is further distinguished by 20-inch Brass Monkey wheels and a unique badge, making it clear this is no ordinary Durango.
710 Horsepower and All-Wheel Drive Performance
The powertrain is equipped with a supercharged 6.2L V8 engine, boasting powerful performance with a maximum output of 710 horsepower and a maximum torque of 874 Nm. It takes 3.5 seconds to reach 0 to 96 km/h (60 mph), and the top speed is approximately 290 km/h (180 mph).
Like other Hellcat models, the Brass Monkey comes standard with all-wheel drive. It also features high-performance components for enhanced stability and control, including a Brembo 6-piston brake system with black calipers, ensuring strong stopping power. The vehicle’s TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission provides smooth and responsive gear shifts, making the driving experience seamless.
Luxurious Interior with Hellcat Accents
Inside, the Brass Monkey is equally impressive. The cabin is dressed in brown leather upholstery with silver Hellcat logos stitched into the front seats. Additional touches like a suede headliner, carbon fiber, black chrome accents, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel elevate the interior’s luxury feel.
For added convenience, the SUV comes equipped with a suite of premium features, including a sunroof, wireless smartphone charging, and a 10.1-inch infotainment system. A 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and driver assistance feature like adaptive cruise control round out the tech offerings.
Limited Edition Exclusivity and Pricing
While the Brass Monkey shares much of its core DNA with other Durango SRT Hellcat models, its limited edition status sets it apart. This exclusivity, combined with its powerful performance and distinctive design, is expected to make it highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike.
Priced from $113,720, the Brass Monkey is a premium option for those looking for something rare and exciting. Additionally, there are rumors that Stellantis may introduce a new Durango successor in 2025, potentially built on the Jeep Grand Cherokee platform. This makes the Brass Monkey even more unique, as it could represent one of the last models of its kind.
