Cadillac’s Large Electric SUV, the Vistiq
Unveils Design and Detailed Specs
Showcasing Cutting-Edge Luxury Features
Cadillac’s electric IQ lineup is set to expand with the upcoming Vistiq, a large electric SUV expected to launch in the U.S. market in the second quarter of 2025. The Vistiq will fill the Cadillac Lyriq and Escalade IQ gap, completing the brand’s electric vehicle range.
In December 2023, Cadillac unveiled new details about the Vistiq, showcasing its luxurious design and advanced features. The SUV shares a design language with the Lyriq and Escalade IQ, making it a standout in Cadillac’s growing electric portfolio.
Black Crystal Grille Takes Center Stage
Trim-Specific Pattern Variations
The Vistiq’s exterior design is centered around Cadillac’s signature black crystal shield grille, illuminated with a unique pattern depending on the trim level. The vehicle in the images features a streamlined wing on the side of the grille and a triangular pattern complemented by vertical headlamps. A single-line daytime running light accents the large headlamp units, while pixel lamps add a modern touch.
The front bumper features a trapezoidal air intake similar to the grille, surrounded by black high-gloss detailing for added sophistication. The side profile is enhanced with black high-gloss trim around the window molding, cladding, and side skirt garnish, while the rear quarter glass showcases Cadillac’s signature Mondrian pattern.
Length of 5,222 mm (205.6 inches)
Provides ample legroom
The rear end is equally impressive, with L-shaped split tail lamps that extend along the rear glass and side. A horizontal wing-inspired pattern inside the tail lamps creates a striking design. A large rear diffuser, integrated with a horizontal reflector, contributes to the solid, SUV-like appearance.
With a length of 5,222 mm (205.6 inches) and a wheelbase of 3,094 mm (121.8 inches), the Vistiq is larger than the Cadillac XT6, offering ample passenger space. The second row provides 1,021 mm (40.2 inches) of legroom, and the 8-inch display behind the center console allows for rear-seat climate control. The third row, with 777 mm (30.6 inches) of legroom, offers a comfortable experience when the second row is pulled forward.
615-HP Dual-Motor Powertrain
The price is set at $78,790
The Vistiq’s performance is equally impressive. It features a dual-motor, four-wheel-drive powertrain that delivers 615 horsepower and 880 Nm of torque. Paired with a 102 kWh lithium-ion battery, the Vistiq offers a driving range of 483 km (300 miles) on a single charge. The SUV is equipped with active rear steering, enabling a tighter turning radius despite its large size, and the Premium Luxury trim adds air ride adaptive suspension and aero mode to enhance efficiency at high speeds.
Inside, the Vistiq offers cutting-edge technology, including a 33-inch display for the dashboard and a separate 8-inch display for climate and vehicle controls. The interior is designed with luxury in mind, featuring a wide, horizontal dashboard with a floating center console, a dial-type gear knob, and premium metal, carbon, and wood trims.
Comfort features include heated and ventilated front seats, massage capabilities, five-zone climate control, a 23-speaker AKG Studio audio system, and ambient lighting. A panoramic sunroof and a glass roof for the third row enhance the vehicle’s openness and luxury appeal.
The Vistiq will be available in three trims: Luxury, Sports, and Premium Luxury, with a starting price of $78,790. The SUV’s combination of luxury, advanced technology, and performance makes it a strong contender in the electric vehicle market, poised to attract consumers seeking both style and sustainability.
