Nissan showcased a special model at the “NISMO Festival” on December 1. An SUV with design elements of the “Fairlady Z” and a vehicle that recreates the famous “Fairlady” from the past are expected to capture visitors’ attention.
The “Fairlady Z SUV” to be unveiled at this event was produced based on the concept of “an elegant and affluent life with family.” In particular, this model, which contains the meaning of dedicating it to all fathers in the world, is characterized by its uniqueness and practicality through the application of a crossover design.
Nismo Marks 40-Year Milestone with Showcase of Legendary Racing Cars
Additionally, Nissan will showcase a blend of legendary racing cars and modern performance technology. The NISMO brand, which marks its 40th anniversary this year, will pay tribute to its storied history with famous vehicles like the Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R Group A race car, the Nissan GT-R (R35) that clinched the FIA GT1 World Championship Drivers’ Title, and the iconic cars that raced at the 1990s Le Mans 24 Hours.
In celebration of NISMO’s anniversary, the event will feature early NISMO complete cars, such as the 270R, 400R, and R34 GT-R Z-Tune, as well as the latest NISMO models, including the GT-R NISMO and the electric ARIYA NISMO. These vehicles will be displayed and participate in driving demonstrations, highlighting the ongoing legacy of Nissan’s performance vehicles.
Students Unveil Customized Vehicle with Modern x Retro
The Nissan Automobile University will also participate with two standout custom vehicles: the “Fairlady X,” which caught global attention at the 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon, and the “I’m march,” a unique model blending modern and retro design elements. Inspired by the iconic “SR311 Fairlady,” this concept celebrates the retro revival embraced by Generation Z.

The NISMO Festival promises more than just impressive vehicles. It will also feature family-friendly activities, including a mechanic experience corner where attendees can try their hand at vehicle maintenance.
