It has been revealed that Russian serial killers, who did not hesitate to resort to cannibalism, have been pardoned in exchange for their participation in the war with Ukraine.
According to The Moscow Times and other sources on the 22nd (local time), Denis Gorin (44), a murderer from Sakhalin, Far East Russia, who killed four people, participated in the Ukrainian war and was pardoned. He is currently hospitalized at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Hospital due to minor injuries sustained during the war.
Gorin was first murdered in 2003 and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He was released on parole for good behavior, but he continued his killing spree in 2010 and 2011, leading to a 22-year sentence. He has a minimum of four victims.
Notably, during a killing in 2010, he used a knife to dismember the male victim’s body and ate it, displaying brutal behavior. In court, he admitted, “I stored human flesh in the refrigerator and cooked it later.”
Gorin is not the only Russian “cannibal” serial killer who has been pardoned due to the war with Ukraine. A few days ago, Nikolai Ogolobyak (33), who fell into a pseudo-religion worshiping the devil and killed and ate four teenagers, was also released.
Ogolobyak was the main culprit in a horrifying “cannibalistic ritual murder case” that shook the Yaroslavl region of Russia in 2010 when he was a teenager. Immersed in a pseudo-religion that worshipped Satan at the time, he and his colleagues killed four teenagers and fried and ate their hearts and tongues. He is also accused of stabbing another victim 666 times, referring to it as “the number of Satan.” His accomplices committed horrific acts, including bathing in the victims’ blood.
He was initially scheduled to be released in 2030, but he joined the Russian criminal unit Storm Z and fought with Ukraine for six months, resulting in a pardon.
