According to Yonhap News on the 8th, Oleksiy Kuleba Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office reported that an explosion occurred in Hmelnitsky located southwest of the capital Kyiv resulting in one death.
Also, a massive missile attack poured down on Kryvyi Rih, a city near the central front in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast damaging buildings including a shopping center causing one death.
In Novomoskovsk, adjacent to the north of Dnipro city, about 20 people were injured and civilian infrastructure was damaged in the southeastern Kharkiv region. Rocket attacks were also carried out in civilian residential areas in Zaporizhia.
AFP reported that one person died in the southeastern Kharkiv region on the same day.
Ukraine previously announced that 11 people, including 5 children, were killed in a Russian airstrike in Pokrovsk village in Donetsk Oblast on the 6th.
Since Russia carried out the largest-ever bombing on Ukraine on December 29 last year after the outbreak of the war, the two countries have been exchanging airstrikes since the new year.
Recently, the United States announced that Russia had launched missiles received from North Korea into Ukrainian territory on December 30 last year and January 2 this year and Ukraine officially confirmed this fact.
