Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia has received over a million rounds of ammunition from North Korea.

Zelensky, who is on a tour of the Baltic states remarked during a speech in Tallinn, Estonia on the 11th (local time), adding that Russia is negotiating the purchase of Iranian missiles.

The White House recently revealed that North Korea had provided Russia with ballistic missile launchers and dozens of missiles and that several North Korean missiles were fired into Ukraine on the 6th.

President Zelensky emphasized that a ceasefire would give Russia time to rearm and assist in attacking Ukraine, stating, “We will not take such a risk.”

He continued, “Russia needs to take responsibility for all the crimes and destruction caused by its invasion,” and said that if Russia were made to bear economic responsibility, it would be an important lesson for other dictators.

President Zelensky stressed that the most important goal this year is to implement a peace plan in which more than 80 countries have participated.

Ukraine aims to establish a ‘peace formula’ with ten items, including the complete withdrawal of Russian troops. Zelensky, who visited Vilnius, Lithuania without prior notice the day before, repeatedly appealed for Western support, stating that they lack an air defense system to defend against missile and drone attacks.

President Zelensky is scheduled to visit Riga, Latvia after Estonia.
