Yonhap News

Ukraine announced on the 16th (local time) that it has been investigated that Russia has launched at least 24 short-range ballistic missiles that have been imported from North Korea since December 30 last year.

According to a Reuters report, Andriy Kostin, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, announced the results of this preliminary investigation, stating, “Only two of the 24 were relatively accurate,” and “The accuracy of these missiles is suspicious.”

He further explained, “The types of these missiles were identified as North Korean Iskander (KN-23) and North Korean ATACMS (KN-24), which belong to the set of three short-range missiles.”

He also added that at least 14 civilians in Ukraine were confirmed to have been killed in Russia’s North Korean missile attack.
