A bikini model who had sexual relations with a teenage boy is facing the risk of a life sentence. Megan Skye Blancada, who gained popularity through a reality show, admitted to having sex with a teenager.
Blancada confessed her guilt when she appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates’ Court in Australia on the 14th. She is at risk of receiving a prison sentence, and the maximum life sentence is also possible.
Earlier, it was reported that photos of child exploitation were found in Blancada’s cell phone.
The court released documents that reveal a series of crimes that Blancada committed to a minor under 16 at various locations from January 2021 to November 2023.
The victim, whose name was not disclosed, is attending a prestigious private school.
Blancada’s lawyer said outside the court, “Ms. Blancada sincerely apologizes for her actions. She hopes that by acknowledging her guilt today, she can alleviate any pain that the teenage victim may have felt when he was testifying in court.”
He added, “Considering the upcoming sentencing submission, it does not seem appropriate to comment any further at this point.”
Blancada will be detained until she appears in the district court for the sentencing submission in April.
Blancada will also appear in the Adelaide Magistrates’ Court in May on charges of possession of child exploitation material.
