Tragic Death of a Year-Old at a Daycare Center
Teacher Claims Child Choked on Milk
Brain Hemorrhage Discovered at Hospital
The tragic news was reported of a one-year-old child’s death at a daycare center.
Thai online news outlet Sanook reported on March 26 that a 26-year-old mother raised concerns after her child’s teacher claimed the child choked on milk, but a doctor’s examination did not support this explanation.
The mother entrusted her son to a well-known daycare center in Mueang Lampang, which cared for him Monday through Friday.
The child’s teacher, who contacted the child’s grandmother, reported a choking incident, stating the child was “choking on milk.”
Upon hearing this, the mother immediately called the rescue team and stressed, “My child is in danger. Please hurry.”
Despite rushing to the daycare center within 10 minutes of the teacher’s call, her son was no longer breathing upon arrival.
Rushed to the hospital by emergency responders, the boy underwent X-rays of his brain and body. Doctors revealed concerning findings: a brain hemorrhage and swelling on the left side of his brain.
Noticing blood in her son’s eyes, the mother became distraught and sought immediate answers from the teacher regarding the incident.
The teacher maintained that the child choked on milk, prompting the mother to file a police report after their conversation.
