Ongoing revelations about Song Ha Yoon’s past
2015: Accusations of verbal abuse towards a “Cat Mom”
2018: Comments about school bullying and forced transfer
After admitting to having been forced to transfer schools due to school bullying, actress Song Ha Yoon is once again under scrutiny as old posts accusing her of verbally abusing a “cat mom” have resurfaced.
Recently, an online community brought a story from Song’s past to light, stirring up controversy.
Back in December 2015, a post appeared on an online community claiming that “ Song and her father verbally abused a woman who was feeding a stray cat.”
The post’s author stated, “Song’s father also harassed the ‘cat mom’ who was feeding the nearby stray cats. Song did not stop her father and yelled at the woman, saying ‘Hey you [expletive], how old are you [expletive],’ over a hundred times.”
The author continued to criticize Song, stating that she continued to abuse the woman verbally, hid when the police came, and resumed the abuse when the police left. The author also accused Song of throwing away the food the “cat mom” brought and maintaining her image through broadcasts, stating that the industry has many hypocrites.
Meanwhile, another post from the past revealed that Song Ha Yoon was involved in school bullying and was forced to transfer schools.
In June 2018, Song’s fan shared a clip of her appearance on a variety show in an online community. A viewer then left a comment on the post.
The commenter claimed to be Song’s high school classmate and stated, “She bullied a schoolmate as part of a gang and was forced to transfer schools because of it. She’s a rough friend, unlike her appearance.” This claim is very similar to her current school bullying controversy.
As the school bullying controversy surrounding Song continues, her agency, King Kong by Starship, admitted that she was forced to transfer schools due to school bullying. However, they clarified that “this has no relation to the current school violence allegations.”
