Her Married Life with Singer Se7en
Actress Lee Da Hae showcased her status as one of the beloved stars in China.
Lee first appeared on the MBC talk show Radio Star, which aired on April 24.
On the show, Lee shared episodes from her peak popularity season when she became an international Hallyu star through the drama My Girl.
She recalled an incident when she arrived at an airport in Hong Kong to attend an event and had to levitate due to a broken escalator and a crowd of fans, saying, “I felt like a superstar.”
She also revealed that in China, only she and Choo Ja Hyun, among Korean celebrities, have the privilege to create beauty content on a social media platform, indicating that she receives special treatment.
Lee also shared that in her relationship with her husband, Se7en, they would “search for non-touristy overseas destinations to enjoy secret dates.”
She thought they could comfortably enjoy their dates without being recognized, but when a blind item appeared with their initials, they were frightened. However, other celebrities were suspected, and they even had to apologize to the parties involved.
Because of Se7en’s fondness towards his friends, she also confessed that she had a hard time, saying, “We must have prepared for housewarming parties at our newlywed home more than 100 times.” She amazed everyone by paying meticulous attention to flowers, plating, and desserts.
Actively working as a star in the Chinese-speaking region, Lee Da Hae gained fame as the female lead, Yoon Cho Won, who received divine intervention in the MBC TV daily drama Heaven’s Fate (2004-2005). She married the singer Se7en last year.
